Terry Peak:
Located less than twenty minutes from Spearfish Canyon Lodge Terry Peak offers a friendly atmosphere and is open from early November to late March.

It is the third highest peak east of the Rocky Mountains and elevations range from 5,900 ft-7,000 ft. Terry Peak receives the most snowfall in the area with a yearly average of 100 inches.

Sixty percent of the mountain is covered by a snowmaking system which makes it possible to ski when the snow isn't falling.

Deer Mountain features a 6850 ft. summit, an 800 ft. vertical drop and 44 downhill trails.  Fun opportunities for the whole family include the Roughrider Tubing Park, Deer Mountain Skate Park, and over 10 miles of groomed cross country trails, as well as the unique opportunity for Night Skiing.

If you are not already an expert on the snow, extensive schooling is available for skiing, snow boarding and tubing.

The beautiful ski resort is located in the heart of the Black Hills, just 5 miles from Lead, and is open late November to early April.
